The I.K.C.A.
The International Karate Connection Association was founded in 1980 by Chuck Sullivan and Vic LeRoux as a school and chartered in 1990 as an international association. Chuck Sullivan, a 10th Degree Senior Grandmaster, is a first generation black belt under Senior Grandmaster Ed Parker.

SGM Sullivan began studying Kenpo around 1959 and was the FOURTH person in the UNITED STATES to earn the rank of black belt. Vic LeRoux, a 10th degree black belt, is also a first generation black belt under Mr. Parker and Mr. Sullivan. Together, they founded the I.K.C.A. Kenpo system which is based on a video testing program. With their innovative video correspondence testing program, you can achieve rank and become certified as an instructor for the first time--all through video.

I.K.C.A. Kenpo is based on the philosophy of teaching sponteneity in combat. "By cutting Kenpo back, making it mean and lean again, and utilizing the I.K.C.A.'s unique training drills, you will learn a system that is achievable in a couple of years and perfected in a few more rather than a system that takes a couple of decades to learn and a lifetime to perfect."

As a member of U.K.K.S., you are affiliated with the I.K.C.A. Any rank you obtain will be sanctioned internationally and maintained on file with the I.K.C.A.
